Pack & Send sends clear message to competitors in new campaign

A new campaign for Pack & Send has taken a swipe at rival service Australia Post in a new ad.

The campaign, created by Big River Creative, features a Pied Piper character who is joined throughout the commercial by others who arrive at Pack & Send, the most notable a barrister leaving a red-and-white branded “Package Office” which bares quite a likeness to Australia Post.

Jeff Hawkins, creative director of Big River Creative said: “We used the journey of our flautist to introduce the broad range of customers Pack & Send serves and the variety of items they want to send from A to B. The music was important to set the tone for the campaign and represent the Pack & Send brand.”

The new campaign coincides with Pack & Send’s 20th anniversary and is the company’s first large scale advertising campaign in 12 years. It runs nationally across TV, digital, social media and in-store.

Michael Paul, Pack & Send CEO said: “It’s 20 years since I opened the first Pack & Send store and this campaign illustrates nicely how our service offering has evolved.”

The TVC was produced by Conti Bros Films, with Myles Conti directing.
