Pedestrian’s competition will run over the next eight weeks, and will ask Pedestrian readers to upload images of their pet to be in the running to claim the crown.

The winner will become the face of Pedestrian’s pets vertical and will feature in a campaign across Pedestrian’s various channels.

Pedestrian’s initiative comes a month after the launch of Pedestrian Pets with advertising partner petinsurance.com.au.

James McManus, head of creative projects said Pedestrian – which is majority owned by Nine – was excited to see the entries arrive over the next two months.

“In our goal to constantly speak to our audience’s passions, The Pedestrian Pet Search is the perfect warm and fuzzy chance to celebrate some of their best pals: their pets,” McManus added.
