Pop culture news and creative jobs portal Pedestrian.tv has secured a place on the BRW Fast 100 list.

The special edition of BRW released today showcases the fastest growing companies in Australia over the past 4 financial years. Pedestrian.tv has bucked the trend of falling revenues and profits amongst the media industry to record an average YOY revenue growth of 45% since 2008.

Pedestrian continues to grow in 2012 with 260,000 unique Australian browsers visiting the site in August and current advertisers including Telstra, Lipton Ice Tea and Smirnoff.

Pedestrian.tv formed in 2005 when media assistants Oscar Martin and Chris Wirasinha (then 23 and 22) decided to leave their $27k a year salaries and launch the world’s first free DVD magazine.

7.5 years later Pedestrian is one of Australia’s fastest growing online publishing companies and employs a phenomenally talented and devastatingly handsome staff of 15 across offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
