Penny Wolf joins iTnews.com.au
Next Media has appointed Penny Wolf as deputy editor of technology title iTnews.com.au.

Next Media is pleased to announce the appointment of Penny Wolf, former communications director for Oracle Asia Pacific, as Deputy Editor of award-winning enterprise technology title, iTnews.com.au.
Wolf brings iTnews the organisational rigour and commercial acumen gained while managing the communication strategies of enterprise software companies including Oracle, Ingres and Systems Union over several decades.
Wolf will work with iTnews’ team of journalists to maintain the brand’s commitment to provide the highest quality and most thoroughly independent news source to senior IT decision makers.
The high-profile appointment is one of several made post Next Media’s acquisition of Haymarket Australia’s technology titles. Sister publication CRN has hired two new journalists including William Maher and former Macquarie Bank IT pro Tony Yoo.
Next Media chief executive David Gardiner said Wolf’s appointment was part of a broader strategy aimed at ensuring Next Media’s newly-acquired titles “continue to sit at the centre of the technology industry.”
Wolf’s first day at Next Media will be on April 14.
