Penultimate episode of Big Brother brings 667,000 metro viewers

With the finale of Big Brother 2021 to air tonight, the second-last episode of the season brought in 667,000 metro viewers for Seven, as the top-rating entertainment program on Monday.

The episode brought in 953,000 nationally, and was the highest audience since the season’s launch episode. Australia will vote for the winner tonight.

Have You Been Paying Attention? brought in 659,000 metro viewers for Ten, while the network’s primetime offering MasterChef Australia had 640,000 metro viewers.

Nine’s primetime offering of Australian Ninja Warrior had 617,000 metro viewers, behind the likes of The Chase Australia (652,000) and Home And Away (642,000).

Seven News was the top-rating program overall on Monday with 1.222 million metro viewers, while Nine News had 1.177 million.

Nine News also won two out of three of the key advertising demos, 18-49 and 25-54, while Have You Been Paying Attention? won 16-39.

Nine managed to win the night, with a 27.3% network share ahead if Seven’s 26.8%. Meanwhile Ten had 20.9% and the ABC had 17.6%.

The top-rating multi-channel was 10 Bold with a 4.1% share.
