Pepsi kicks off Summer with major ‘disruptive’ Max campaign
Pepsi Max has kicked off a multi-million dollar summer campaign which will roll out over the next three months.
Anchored with an ad by Clemenger BBDO Sydney featuring a giant slip and slide down a suburban street which ends on the beach, the campaign will develop along multiple streams.
Part of the work will feature V8 Supercar driver Chaz Mostert travelling the country in a VW Combi van and also feature partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Buzzfeed.
The drinks giant will also release a series of summer branded cans.
Pepsi marketing director, Tami Cunningham, said the campaign aimed to be inspirational.
“The Aussie summer is world-famous, but unfortunately we don’t always get the opportunity to make the most of it because everyday life gets in the way,” Cunningham said.
“This summer, Pepsi Max is all about bringing our ingenious spirit to the Australian summer and inspiring Aussies to max their summer in every way possible.”
A series of outdoor executions, designed to be disruptive, will be revealed over coming weeks.
