Pernod Ricard and Lion engage Liquid Ideas to assist with communications

Communications agency Liquid Ideas has announced a number of new alcohol clients, including Pernod Ricard Winemakers and Lion.

The agency has also been working pro-bono for the Adelaide Hills Wine Region, assisting with the launch of Hills Appeal – a wine that raises funds for growers affected by last summer’s bushfire crisis. Liquid Ideas designed the bottle’s label and worked on its consumer media relations.

Liquid Ideas’ new clients include Furphy, Jacob’s Creek and the Adelaide Hills Wine Region

Liquid Ideas will be acting as a specialist media office for Pernod Ricard Winemakers’ brands including Jacob’s Creek, St Hugo and Church Road.

Lion Australia engaged the agency ahead of pubs reopening nationally. The agency launched Furphy Fridays (Furphy is a Lion brand), a digital pub that brought people back together in isolation.

Premium spirits distributor, Vanguard Luxury Brands, has also handed the social media accounts for Beluga Vodka and Flor de Caña to the agency. Liquid Ideas already works with Vanguard Luxury Brands’ Four Pillars Gin, as it was co-created by the agency’s founder and creative chairman, Stuart Gregor.

Finally, Wines of Greece has hired the agency to create a trade, consumer and media program.

Liquid Ideas CEO, Narelle Craig, said: “We are incredibly excited and honoured to be returning to work post COVID-19 with an even stronger drinks trolley than we began the year with.

“2020 is a challenging time; for our industry, our teams, our partners, our clients. We’re fortunate our drinks and digital business has boomed throughout COVID-19, and we’ll continue supporting our existing clients and friends including the Adelaide Hills Region who were hit pretty hard with the bushfires, later in the year.”

Liquid Ideas’ client list includes Pt. Leo Estate, Shaw + Smith, Handpicked Wines, Singapore Airlines, Luna Park, Unilever, Universal Sony and Universal Pictures.
