Perth radio ratings: Nova overtakes Mix to take lead in fourth ratings survey

Nova93.7 overtook MIX 94.5 to lead Perth’s radio market in GfK’s fourth ratings survey released this morning

Nova picked up 0.4 percentage points to finish with with a 14.1% share of audience with MIX falling a point to 13.7% overall.

In the breakfast timeslot, Nova extended its lead with the Nathan, Nat & Shaun show gaining 0.8 points to end the survey with 14.% of the audience. Mix’s Clairsy, Matt & Kymba lost last month’s gains with a slump of 2.1 points.

Nova’s drive line up of Kate Ritchie, Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold extended the station’s Perth lead by 0.4 points to 15.6%, opening a gap over MIX which fell 0.3 to 14.8 while HIT 92.9 was the timeslot’s big winner moving to 13.8 share with a 0.7 gain.

On the AM frequencies, ABC Perth and 6PR gained 0.8 and 0.2 percentage points respectively with 8.6 and 6.8 overall audience share.
