Ogilvy in Melbourne has hired an managing director to fill the role vacated by Andrew Baxter almost two years ago.

Peter Horovitz returns to the industry after a period consulting to take the role. He worked at Y&R for 17 years from the mid-eighties to 2002, latterly running the Sydney office as MD.

Peter’s role will be to build on this success and provide the vision, focus, and momentum to consolidate our leadership position in Melbourne for the next decade.”

Horovitz will oversee agency brands including Badjar Ogilvy, OgilvyOne Melbourne, OgilvyAction Melbourne, OgilvyRed Melbourne and One20 Melbourne.
