Thrill of the Taste campaign marks launch of Connoisseur range
Leo Burnett Melbourne’s first work for Peters Ice Cream has been launched after winning the account nearly year ago.
The campaign launches Peters Ice Cream’s new premium Connoisseur range.
The brand is positioned around the slogan “The Thrill of the Taste” appearing across TV, cinema, outdoor, in-store, magazine and digital.
Media agency ZenithOptimedia and PR agency Liquid Ideas are also working on the campaign.
Jason Williams executive creative director of Leo Burnett Melbourne, said: “We wanted to capture the anticipation and visceral thrill of tasting something incredible for the first time.”
The TV spot was directed by Jeffrey Darling via Moth Productions.
Another Aussie ad with an American VO. Shame, I kind of liked how Australia had its own cultural thing going for a while there.

I wish more ads would feature exotic accents (this narrator sounds eastern european with some american influence) – quite original actually.
Its tiring to hear aussies so often demanding that every ad be 100% localised and dubbed in our own familiar run of the mill accent. It reminds me of the rampant xenophobia this country is becoming quite famous for. “Had” its own cultural thing?? Seriously pathetic whinge. How about the content? Needs more aussie flag maybe?
That aside its a beautifully executed ad, brilliant cinematography and great brand positioning… thoroughly appetising!
