PHD expands remit of H&R Block account, taking over digital from Yoghurt

H&R Block has expanded its relationship with PHD, awarding the media agency the remit of all digital paid, owned and earned services effective immediately.

The digital account was previously held by Yoghurt, while the PHD H&R Block account will continue to be led by group business director Anelida Pardini.

“We are excited to partner with H&R Block to launch the new tax year and their digital transformation,” Pardini said.

“With so much digital, data and tech talk in market, being able to take these opportunities and successfully create together in these spaces that will make the difference for their customers and potential customers.”

Louise Cummins, H&R Block’s marketing and digital product director, added: “In an ever-changing media landscape, we’re excited that PHD will be our full media partners to ensure greater presence across multiple channels – both online and offline. We feel PHD are also the right partners to support with our digital transformation journey. This partnership expansion also coincides with our new tax season campaign starting in July.”

Earlier this week, the agency promoted Joanna Barnes to national head of trading, while Noel Gate was promoted to group business director three weeks ago to lead the Virgin Australia account, which PHD won in April.
