Phillips Group unveils associate director appointments

Phillips Group has hired Robyn Kozera and June Reynolds as associate directors to support clients as they “navigate their sustainability journey and enhance their outreach and engagement”.

The announcement:

An award-winning Queensland agency is expanding their leadership team to help clients navigate their sustainability journey and enhance their outreach and engagement.

Creative, digital and communication firm Phillips Group, has appointed two new associate directors to lead the charge on Government practice, ESG and sustainability.

Both June Reynolds and Robyn Kozera have decades long experience and will support Phillips Group’s senior leadership team.

Robyn Kozera will drive the ESG and Sustainability Practice with her background in strategy, stakeholder engagement and communication.

Robyn has more than 30 years’ experience crafting strategic communication, rooted in data and delivered with creativity, to drive real business results. She is passionate about regenerative business, climate resilience, and social impact and works to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and support companies in aligning purpose with performance.

June Reynolds has more than two decades of consultancy experience leading clients to deliver initiatives. This is especially critical at a time when Governments are developing and implementing complex policies to support growth.

June said Queensland is at a critical juncture with local and state government elections in 2024 and a federal election looming.

“All levels of Governments are grappling with complex issues – they require effective and timely communication to ensure their priorities and policies are clearly understood,” she said.

“Simultaneously, communities expect more from Government – they demand accountability, transparency and responsiveness from their elected leaders. Engagement helps to foster community involvement.”

Managing director, Helen Hutchings said the appointments were reflective of the growth of the firm and current market demands.

“We are delighted to expand our leadership team with two highly skilled experts in their field,” Ms Hutchings said.

“With ESG frameworks constantly evolving and stakeholder demands intensifying, we know these new appointments will add a greater depth to Phillips Groups’ service offerings in our ESG and Sustainability and Government practice areas and we are looking forward to helping clients create meaningful communications.”
