POPAI announces speaker lineup for 2013 Shopper Summit

Popai Australia and New Zealand has confirmed its lineup of speakers at its 2013 Shopper Summit.

The announcement:

  • Dedicated Summit harnesses key shopper marketing learnings from real-world case studies.
  • Focus on helping delegates understand the shopper journey during the path to purchase.
  • Intimate workshop sees each speaker chair a table of eight for deep-dive discussions.

POPAI Australia and New Zealand today confirmed its line-up of locally and internationally-recognised speakers at its 2013 Shopper Summit. The Summit and Workshop will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour from 25-26 September with a focus on bringing shopper marketing case studies, learnings and key insights from leading brands, retailers and their agencies.

During the one-day Summit on 25th September, Greg Smith, The Co-op’s first Chief Marketing Officer in its 55 year history, will share how he has spearheaded the transformation of The Co-Op into a true omnichannel retailer with customer experience at the forefront of its strategy. Bringing unique insights into bricks and mortar versus the digital space, Jason Ratliff, Senior Manager Shopping Marketing for Philips Consumer Lifestyle (ANZ) will present his argument on why brands still have a real and tangible quality in-store.

Danny Lattouf, Head of Channel Marketing for Microsoft’s Consumer and Retail Division will be speaking about the changes in the path to purchase and just how informed, resourceful and connected the consumer has become while Paul Speers, Shopper Marketing Controller for GSK Consumer Healthcare will be sharing how retailers can build an integrated store-back campaign for competitive advantage.

Bringing a joint agency and client perspective on mapping customer journeys and building a new store environment, BUPA’s Head of Retail Network, Gael Filippini joins Nathan Bell from e2.

Each of the Summit speakers will chair an intimate table of eight during the half-day Workshop on 26th September with a focus on sharing and debating real-life business experiences that reflect the Summit topics.

The 2013 POPAI Shopper Summit and Workshop follow on from the Interpoint Retail Conference to be held on 24 September, at the same location.
