“Posterscope has an exclusive offering in the Australian market and with the continued growth and innovation of out-of-home this is a fantastic opportunity,” Emmerson said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Whipp is returning to the agency as business director, after joining media agency Carat in June last year as group business director.

Whipp previously worked for Posterscope for two years as an agency director.

“I’m excited to return to the out-of-home space. The channel is in consistent healthy growth. Being part of a business that is future-focused in terms of product and relationships is very exciting,” Whipp said of her appointment.

Bryan Magee, managing director at Posterscope Australia, said: “In recruiting Michael we have managed to attract a strong, and well-rounded media professional who has a first-class reputation and a passion for not only investment but also innovation.

“The out-of-home market is developing at pace and Posterscope needs people of Michael’s skill set to continue to challenge traditional ways of working.”
