PPR to run public relations for World Air Transport Summit and IATA AGM in Sydney

One of WPP’s public relations outfits, PPR, has been appointed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to provide PR support for the 74th IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the World Air Transport Summit in Sydney in June.

The announcement:

PPR has been appointed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to provide PR support for the 74th IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit in Sydney from 3-5 June 2018.

PPR will assist the IATA corporate communications team, providing in-market intelligence and insights along with media relations support for the event.

“The aviation world turns its attention to Sydney this year as the IATA AGM and World Air Transport Summit lands in Australia for the third time,” said Michael Pooley, PPR CEO.

“As an agency with a long and proud heritage in the aviation sector we are incredibly proud to partner with IATA. We look forward to supporting the IATA communications team to make the AGM a success,” he said.

The IATA AGM and World Air Transport Summit will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney from June 3-5. It will attract some of the world’s leading figures in the air transport industry.
