PR agency Comms House launches with Liv Flanagan and Stefanie Gidaro at the helm

Liv Flanagan and Stefanie Gidaro have launched a PR agency, Comms House, which specialises in fashion, beauty and art.

In a statement to Mumbrella, the pair said that the agency would be passionate about delivering strategy-driven communications.

“Comms House is a new 360 degree communications agency specialising in fashion, lifestyle and beauty. More than just PR, we are passionate about strategy that delivers business impact and championing the role of communications in the new world across social, digital and influencer marketing,” they said.

Flanagan and Gidaro also said the agency will engage brands that target consumers similar to them.

“We are young, agile and have our finger on the pulse, and we understand the consumer – because we are her.”

The agency already holds several founding clients including Bobby Universe, Soda Shades, Maison Essentiele, Zeka Manfred, Bodies by Rachel and Kohl Beauty.

Flanagan has come from a two-year stint at PVH Brands, working in PR with brands including Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Previously, she has been an account coordinator at EVH and a marketing assistant at Tucker Creative.

Gidaro was most recently the director of PR and communications at Zeka Manfred. She has previously worked at Coote Connex as an account manager, Bastion Effect as an account executive, and at Tomorrowland Group.

Flanagan and Gidaro said their approach is to “act as an extension to brands” with customers in mind.

“Media is changing, and to make waves in the current market, so has our approach. Beyond securing press, our role is to act as an extension to brands. Working strategically with customers and sales in mind. We also work with brands on native content, brand collaborations, social media and digital marketing to create a holistic approach to their communications, that would have previously been outsourced to other digital or media agencies,” they said.
