PR agency Sefiani bolsters senior leadership team appointing former Kreab staff

Public relations agency Sefiani has bolstered its senior leadership team with two new senior appointments, former Kreab Worldwide partner Justin Clark and director Todd Loydell.

PR agency Kreab Worldwide closed its Australian doors in December last year, terminating 14 staff including former partner Justin Clark and director Todd Lloydell.

Clark ended his three year stint as managing director at FTI consulting Australia in 2015 before moving to Kreab Worldwide for one year – now joining Sefiani as director.

Todd Lloydell joins Sefiani Communications

Loydell left Kreab Worldwide in December last year when the Australian branch closed, ending his four month stint as director in Canberra. In the meantime he worked with the Skills Impact as a non executive director.

Loydell is now government relations lead at Sefiani Communications Group and still based in Canberra.

Robyn, Sefiani, managing director at Sefiani, told Mumbrella: “We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues, who bring complementary and specialist skills to Sefiani in key growth sectors.

“Their experience brings a new dimension to Sefiani and enhances our ability to offer best-in-class advisory services across financial and transaction communications, government relations and privatisation work. They also bring in-depth sector expertise in infrastructure, healthcare and financial services. And for the first time, Sefiani gains a presence in Canberra, which is valuable for our clients seeking advice on Federal Government related matters.”

The agency has also appointed Michael Swanson and former Kreab Worldwide employee Jane Keely to the senior advisory panel.

Swanson  previously worked in Singapore for Sanofi as head of public affairs and market before moving back to Sydney two-and-a-half years later to head up the role in Australia. He currently holds an APAC consultancy position at Swans Consulting Services.

Keely is a strategic communications consultant previously working as an associate director for four months at Kreab Worldwide.

The agency has also appointed Kurt Graham as senior account manager and Laura Coveney as senior account executive.
