PR specialists Sling & Stone add 5 new clients to growing portfolio

Mumbrella can reveal that PR agency Sling & Stone has added five new clients to its roster, Adore Beauty, CuboAi, EarShots, Getty Images and iStock and Happy Human.

The agency said that all of the new clients are “challengers and innovators” that are all shaping the future, “from improving inclusivity in the cosmetics industry and increasing diversity in imagery; to using Ai to protect newborns to increasing diversity and helping households become more sustainable”.

Kelly Owens, associate director consumer at Sling & Stone said: “Our mission is to help ambitious brands shaping the future share their stories. We’ve kicked off 2021 adding brands who are truly innovating in their industries and driving real change.”

The past year has seen Sling & Stone pick up a considerable amount of new business, which resulted in a string of new hires and 13 promotions in March. 

In 2020, the agency experienced 15% growth. The latest hires join an already 64 person strong team. CEO Vuki Vujasinovic said that after the recent growth spurt, the agency is still on the hunt for 5 roles including an account director, 2 account managers and AE/SAEs.

Owens continued: “From helping new parents navigate looking after their babies and conscientious consumers lessen their impact on the environment, to supporting diversity, inclusion and equity with better tailored cosmetics and increased representation in stock imagery, our new clients are improving how we live, work and play. We are so proud to be able to unearth, craft and share the stories of Adore Beauty, CuboAi, Getty Images and Happy Human.”

Adore Beauty as an Australian online cosmetics retailer, and Sling & Stone will provide strategy and execution for media and influencer relations.

CuboAi is a baby monitor technology solutions company, developed by a mum and pediatrician using face detection technology. The agency are running an integrated PR and influencer campaign in Australia and the US.

EarShots are headphones “designed for riders, runners and adventurers”, with Sling & Stone to work in Australia and New Zealand on a media relations campaign to promote the brand.

For Getty Images and iStock, the agency has been engaged to promote the brand’s mission globally.

Finally, Happy Human is a new Australian sustainable waterless refillable cleaning product, with aims to end single-use plastics at home, reducing carbon emissions from transportation and production.

In February, the agency hired Brian Giesen from Atomic 212 to the newly created role of head of social and content for Australia and New Zealand. This followed 20 new hires at the back end of 2020, following a year of growth, despite the pandemic.
