PRIA announces three new committee members

Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) has announced three new NSW New Emerging Practitioners Group (NEPG) committee members

April Rose, senior PR and social account manager at Niche Marketing Group; Aidan Simmons, media and communications officer at The Royal Australasian College of Physicians; and Maya Ivanovic, account executive at Palin Communications are set to join the group.

Rose, Simmons and Ivanovic will be joining incumbent team members Hannah Rayment and Ishtar Schneider.

Schneider said: “The NSW NEPG is an enthusiastic and active special interest group of PRIA, dedicated to driving industry engagement and education. Our bi-monthly events provide free access to leading guest speakers and networking opportunities for up-and-coming communication professionals and students. We are thrilled to welcome April, Aidan and Maya to the team to bolster our professional learning opportunities in 2017.”

Anne Howard, CEO of PRIA said in a statement: “The continued growth of our NSW NEPG committee is a testament to PRIA’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of future industry leaders.
