Saunders commented: “Since inception 20 months ago, Primer has worked with a broad range of incredible clients who were drawn to our quality of content, original imagery and social purpose.

“With Studio Primer, we can now offer editorial-level content for brands wishing to produce memorable, engaging content on their own platforms and channels.”

To date, Primer’s commercial partners include  Afterpay, Coach, Dermalogica, Foreo, La Mer, Polo Ralph Lauren, Thank You, Verve Super and the UNHCR’s Leading Women Fund.

Primer was recently accredited by the Australian Communications and Media Authority under the News Media Bargaining Code.

Originally a news reporter, Saunders has previously worked as the executive editor of Marie Claire Australia, as the digital content manager for Marie Claire and InStyle and has held senior positions for British Marie Claire and The Sunday Telegraph UK’s Stella magazine. She has written for a range of newspapers and magazines, including She and Glamour UK.

Robinson said: “At Primer, we believe in the power of storytelling – and we know what resonates with smart, socially engaged women.

“Studio Primer now offers commercial partners an editorial approach to content creation, as we use our journalistic and fashion expertise to create premium, visually engaging content that commands an audience’s attention.”

As an accredited social enterprise, Primer is committed to donating 50% of profits to not-for-profit women’s organisations including the Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre in Sydney (WAGEC), which every night accommodates around 200 women and children, many of whom are fleeing family violence.

Robinson added: “Primer was founded with the clear purpose of making a difference. With the launch of studio Primer we’re hoping to accelerate the direct impact we have in the community, in particular our commitment to helping women in need.”
