Publicis Groupe hires Helge Gruettke as chief client officer
Publicis Groupe has appointed Helge Gruettke as its chief client officer to lead its Campbell Arnott’s APAC business.
The agency group won Campbell Arnott’s creative, media and PR account in March and has since hired Gruettke to lead the account.
Prior to joining Publicis Groupe, Gruettke was a client services director at VML and departed the WPP-owned agency in July.
Two months after his departure, VML merged with fellow WPP advertising agency Y&R to create VMLY&R.
Gruettke has also worked for agencies including CX agency Lavender, Grey Germany and BBDO Germany.
“I’m looking forward to leading the direction of the Campbell Arnott’s Asia Pacific business and to be working closely with newly appointed chief strategy integration officer, Kate Smither. To be part of such a progressive agency model, led by CEO Michael Rebelo, means I’m in the privileged position to do my best work with the support of a stellar Groupe-wide team,” Gruettke said in a statement.
Michael Rebelo, Publicis Communications ANZ CEO, added: “At the heart of our Power of One model for Campbell Arnott’s is a leader that is fully empowered and accountable to bring the best talent and solutions from across our Groupe. A progressive model is a key part of the puzzle, it needs great leadership and talent to fulfil the ambition. We have that in Helge.”
