Publicis Mojo drafts Goodby Silverstein creative to Melbourne office

Franklin TiptonPublicis Mojo has appointed Goodby Silverstein & Partners creative Franklin Tipton to the top creative role in its Melbourne office effectively early next year.

Tipton has also previously worked at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami and Mother London.

In his current role at the San Francisco-based agency he is the executive creative director on the Sprint and Zynga accounts.  

His primary client, telco giant Sprint, has been said to be the largest integrated advertising account in the US, with annual media billings of between US$900m and $1.3bn.

Tipton has also worked on BMW’s Mini, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Method home cleaning products during three years at Crispin Porter + Bogusky. He wrote the campaign that won the Citibank account for Fallon, Minneapolis, and spent four years in the UK helping build Mother, London.

His appointment follows that of former JWT worldwide creative director Craig Davis who is now CCO and co-chairman at Publicis Mojo.
