March 30, 2011 –

Digital creative agency, Pusher, has been appointed to create an online advertising campaign for William’s Pale Ale through the William Bull Brewery. The account was won without a competitive pitch.

The brewery is owned by De Bortoli Wines, one of Australia’s largest family-owned wineries. William’s Pale Ale is the second beer produced by the William Bull stable and was released in August 2010.

This is the first time the company has appointed a preferred digital supplier.

Being a family-owned business the company enjoys personal relationships with their suppliers and being able to deal with senior staff on a daily basis.

Pusher’s campaign will involve rich media display to accompany national radio sponsorships across TripleM and SEN, plus social media integration including a Facebook application.

“We are excited to be working with Pusher on our digital platforms. We recognise the importance and effectiveness of leading edge and different thinking to achieve our goals and create brand advocacy through closer consumer relationships,” said Toni Carlino, Marketing Manager, De Bortoli Wines.

Kim Hopwood, Managing Director of Pusher added, “We are delighted to be appointed to William’s Pale Ale. Digital presents so many options for a boutique beer brand and we are certainly looking forward to the challenge.”

Pusher were recently awarded a highly commended gong at the AIMIA awards for Best Social Media for their Samboy Ute & the Loot promotion, and a finalist in the Digital & Interactive Hotshop category in this month’s Creative magazine.
