Pusher to launch brand for Big Bash cricket team Brisbane Heat

Digital agency Pusher has opened a Brisbane office and announced it has won the creative account to launch Big Bash cricket’s Brisbane Heat team.

The team will compete in the Twenty20 cricket competition sponsored by KFC, throughout December and January.

The agency will be responsible for social media, community management, content production, print and brand design, experiential and the development of a TV ad campaign to launch on October 15.

Kim Hopwood MD of Pusher said: “Initially we were only pitching for the social media management, however after we presented our ideas and execution, we were invited to pitch for the entire creative account.”

Marketing manager of Brisbane Heat Andrew McShea said the brand was looking for an agency who understands digital.

“It’s a sign of the times to see digital agencies gain a new level of trust with their clients, who now feel confident in charging them with full creative duties,” he said.

The agency’s other Queensland clients include Capilano Honey, Goodlife Health Clubs and Dreamworld.
