PwC, Ogilvy and Public Address among new speakers confirmed for Mumbrella CommsCon

Two further sessions have been revealed for the 2022 Mumbrella CommsCon program, with senior leaders from PwC, Ogilvy and Public Address confirmed to speak on 19 May at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney.

Public Address CEO Shane Allison will present exclusive research in his launch presentation of the 2022 CommTech User’s Guide, demonstrating the challenges, pitfalls and opportunities of building your communications technology stack.

Presenting exclusive case studies, Shane explores the increasing capabilities of platforms in this space and discusses practical ways to leverage a range of technologies, including machine learning, AI and large-scale team collaboration, in order to build your organisation’s comms strategy.

Meanwhile, PwC director Sonia Clarke, Ogilvy PR chief growth officer Jacquie Potter, and Character + Distinction managing director Kate Dinon will partake in a panel discussion exploring and analysing the trends of the industry as they discuss the future of communications.

In an ever-changing industry, where tomorrow’s PR and comms professionals will face change and challenges like never before, the team will discuss what you, your brand and your business need to do today in order to stay ahead of the game.

Shane, Sonia, Jacquie and Kate join previously announced CommsCon speakers Vuki Vujasinovik (Sling & Stone), Lynnette Edmonds (Edelman), Mandy Galmes and Julia Hoy (Sefiani Commincations). A fireside chat will see Vuki discuss the journey of his PR and communications agency following its acquisition by VCCP Business in September 2021, while Lynnette will address the layers and opportunities of today’s talent challenges. Sefiani’s Mandy and Julia will present the elements that companies and leaders need in order to authentically embed sustainability into their narrative.

Further speakers and sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.

Entries are also open for the 2022 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards, with 23 categories open for submission. Held immediately following the summit, the Awards celebrate the biggest achievements in the PR and communications industry at a gala event.

The first entry deadline for the 2022 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards is 18 February, with the final deadline on 25 February.
