Qld discourages drink driving by encouraging people to make their place their ‘Mate’s Motel’

The Queensland Government’s department of transport and main roads is discouraging drink driving over the holiday period by suggesting Queenslanders should stay over at friend’s houses rather than risk driving home.

Created by BCM, the campaign asks Queenslanders to make their place their ‘Mate’s Motel’, with the spot featuring a man preparing his house for a number of guests.

It runs across TV, outdoor, radio, social, online with a web app, that lets people design their own personalised motel sign, complementing the campaign
