Question Time Sydney: Henry Tajer, Mark Collis, Darren Woolley and Deborah Thomas

Mumbrella’s next Sydney Mumbrella Question Time boasts the powerful lineup of Media Federation President Henry Tajer, Telstra’s new advertising champion Mark Collis, pitch consultant Darren Woolley and the public face of ACP Deborah Thomas.

The breakfast event takes place on Wednesday 10 November.

The session sees questions from the audience on any media and marketing topic, moderated by Mumbrella editor Tim Burrowes.

Tajer recently became president of the MFA, which represents most of Australia’s major media agencies. He also heads up Interpublic’s Mediabrands – the umbrella company covering Universal McCann, Initiative and search operation Reprise.

Collis, a former ECD, is Telstra’s director of innovation and creativity. His brief includes reinvigorating the telco’s brand.

Woolley heads up consultancy Trinity P3. This week it was revealed that his company is currently overseeing the Ikea creative pitch.

Deborah Thomas recently stepped into the new ACP role of GM of media, public affairs and brand development. She has previously edited Cleo, Mode and Elle, and spent a decade as editor-in-chief of Australian Women’s Weekly.

Tickets for the event are $95, discounted to $80 for early bird bookers who get in before next Wednesday October 27.

The event takes place at Darling Harbour. Tickets are available via this link.

Tickets are also still available for Mumbrella’s first Question Time in Melbourne. It takes place next Thursday October 28. The speakers are Crikey’s Eric Beecher, Naked’s Frankie Ralston Good, Clemenger BBDO’s Peter Biggs and TAC’s John Thompson.
