Quickflix new CEO, Chris Taylor

Quickflix Limited has appointed Chris Taylor to CEO. Taylor will be based at the company’s new head office in Sydney.

Taylor was formerly Director of Telstra Media where he oversaw the deliver of Telstra’s IPTV service including the T-Box and other connected platforms.

The appointment follows last week’s announcement of Quickflix and BigPond Movies entering into an agreement to see BigPond Movies DVD rentals close as of 30 September with Telstra recommending Quickflix’s services to its customers. Quickflix will make a payment based on the number of customers who transfer services. Quickflix will also acquire BigPond’s DVDs, Blu-Rays and equipment.
