R/GA hires Interbrand’s Ben Miles as ECD of its Business Transformation practice

R/GA has hired Interbrand’s ECD, Ben Miles, as executive creative director for Business Transformation in Asia Pacific.

Miles spent nine years at Interbrand, and was the leader of Australian Marriage Equality’s G’ AY MATE campaign, as well as delivering work for The Prince Akatoki, IGA and Telstra.

In his new role, Miles will be the regional creative lead for R/GA’s consulting practice, Business Transformation, which is designed to help the c-suite continue to innovate.

Miles will be based in Sydney but work with a team spanning seven offices. He will report to Mike Rigby, R/GA’s global head of brand transformation, who is based in New York.

R/GA Australia MD, Michael Titshall, said: “Ben’s impressive track record in reshaping some of the world’s top companies and successfully navigating disruption will be a powerful asset for growing Business Transformation in the region.

“Since launching the APAC consulting practice in 2018, we have seen strong demand from a range of regional and local clients who look for a creative and strategic partner on their journey towards building sustainable and customer-first brands.”
