RACV revamps RoyalAuto magazine, moves to bi-monthly

RACV member magazine, RoyalAuto, has relaunched as a bi-monthly magazine, centring the title around ‘living, moving and travelling well’.

RoyalAuto, which has been running since 1922, previously ran as a monthly print title. Now, it will look to build out its content across print and digital, with more in-depth features and interviews.

The new website is broken into three verticals

RACV created the magazine to provide Victorians with news reviews and advice, and said the decision to move bi-monthly came from consumer and member research.

The new online edition is broken into categories: living well, travelling well, moving well, competition and events.

RACV RoyalAuto editor, Jane Hutchinson, said the team was proud to relaunch the magazine and website.

“We have listened to members’ feedback to create a magazine and website that reflects their changing interests and lives. Our research has helped to shape the design and editorial direction of the magazine and define its purpose of driving conversation about where Victoria is headed, illuminating the state’s direction and inspiring members to be part of setting that course,” Hutchinson said.

The new edition with more features and interviews

“We are committed to celebrating Victoria in every edition and throughout our online features. Our readers can expect stories on influential Victorians, iconic road trips, seasonal eating, product reviews and weekend getaways.

“With one of the largest circulations in Victoria, we hope RoyalAuto’s new multi-platform offer will further showcase RACV’s dedication to the enhancing the lives of Victorians and telling the stories that matter to them.”

The new edition launched on January 29.
