Radio ratings: Adelaide – Mix102.3 holds onto ratings crown

Despite a slight audience decline across its Monday to Sunday share the Australian Radio Network’s Mix102.3 continued to hold onto its FM ratings crown in Adelaide with a share of 16.3 per cent.

The station has been the most popular FM station for each ratings period this year and despite a decline of 0.4 share points, the station’s Fun Breakfast with Jodie, Mark and Snowy was again the number one FM breakfast show.

Its closest rival Nova91.9 had the second most popular FM breakfast show with Dylan Lewis and Shane Lowe delivering  an audience share of 10.3 per cent, according to today’s ratings.

The station was also the overall second most popular FM station with an audience share of 10.8 per cent.

Triple M’s Hot Breakfast with Blakey, Nick & Louie boosted its audience share by 0.7 share points to a share of 8.2 per cent.

In the drive timeslot, Mix102.3’s Driving You Home with Sean Craig Murphy beat Nova’s national drive program with Kate, Tim & Marty from the top position after boosting its audience by 0.9 share points to a share of 15.6 per cent. Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty saw its audience decline by 1.6 share points to a share of 13.4 per cent.

Triple M’s drive team of Matt Tilley and Joe Hildebrand also saw its audience fall by 2.1 share points to a share of 9.4 per cent while SAFM’s national drive team of Dan Debuf and Maz Compton experienced an audience decline of 0.4 share points to an audience share of 7.2 per cent.

In the AM market, ABC891 was the most popular station overall with a share of 10.8 per cent with Fiveaa not to far behind on a share of 10.6 per cent.

ABC891’s breakfast with Matthew Abraham and David Bevan claimed both the overall (tied with Mix101.1) and the AM breakfast crown with an audience share of 15.1 per cent, down 0.1 share points from the last ratings period.

It beat Fiveaa whose breakfast team of David Penberthy, Mark Aiston & Jane Reilly had an audience share of 12.3 per cent, a decline of 0.9 share points.
