Radio Ratings: Adelaide – Mix102.3 clings to top spot
ARN’s Mix 102.3 retained its top slot in Adelaide despite losing 1.5 share points, according to the latest set of radio ratings from Nielsen.
Breakfast audiences saw a slight shift from commercial stations to the ABC with Mix102.’s Fun Breakfast with Jodie, Mark and Snowy retaining it’s place as the number one FM breakfast show despite a decline from 14.5 per cent to 12.8 per cent.
Nova91.9’s breakfast duo Lewis & Lowe also saw a slight decline in audience share from 10.8 per cent to 10.1 per cent.
ABC891’s Breakfast with Matthew Abraham and David Bevan continue to dominate the breakfast time slot, with a boosted audience share from 15 per cent to 16.9 per cent.
Fiveaa’s Breakfast Show with Jane Reilly, Keith Conlon, Chris McDermott and Tim Ginever also boosted their audience share by 1.1 from 12.6 per cent to 13.7 per cent.
Nova91.9 and Fiveaa are owned by DMG Australia.
The drive time slot tightened with Mix102.3’s Sean Craig Murphy retaining top slot despite a decline in audience share from 16.5 per cent to 14.7 per cent. The Fiveaa Sports Show maintained its audience share of 13.6 per cent while Nova91.9’s national Meshel, Tim and Marty edged closer, boosting their share from 11.4 per cent to 13.2 per cent.
In the 7pm to midnight time slot, Fiveaa saw a fall in audience following the retirement of shock jock Bob Francis, with its audience share declining from 15.4 per cent to 13.8 per cent. Paul Makin hosts from 8pm to midnight on Fiveaa.
