There are no plans to fill McCabe’s role of managing director Asia Pacific

McCabe joined RadiumOne in November 2013 after working as a leadership coach and business consultant for Integral Dynamics for two years.

Prior to that he worked for Microsoft, initially as a commercial director for Ninemsn from December 2008 to December 2009 before moving to Singapore to take on the role of general manager – advertising and publishing APAC in August 2010, and was promoted to director of advertising and online APAC in October 2011.

McCabe told Mumbrella: “I believe that RadiumOne has a big opportunity on the global stage and I wanted to be part of that. We take a data-driven approach to connecting the dots between paid, earned, shared and owned marketing channels for brands.

“This is resonating well in a world where consumer journeys are more complex and finding connections that matter is harder.”

In August RadiumOne promoted director of sales and business development for Asia Pacific, Adam Furness, to the newly-created position of managing director ANZ, while Charlie Baillie is the regional director for south east Asia.

On the APAC leadership, McCabe said: “Our APAC leadership team is doing a great job, I think I was cramping their style so we’ve certainly lost nothing in terms of our Australia and South East Asia presence.”

There are no plans at this stage to replace McCabe’s role of managing director for Asia Pacific.

McCabe has also been the chair of media and marketing industry’s charitable foundation UnLtd since he founded the foundation in 2007.

“I’ll remain chair of UnLtd and as committed as ever to progressing the collective efforts of our industry to helping disadvantaged young people,” McCabe said.
