Rafters rule as Nine rues Tuesday

The ever reliable Rafter family took Seven to an easy win on Tuesday in what was a horrible night for Nine.  

Packed To The Rafters pulled in an audience of more than 1.9m, helping the network to a share of the metro audience of 34%, according to preliminary ratings from OzTam. Meanwhile, Nine took just 18.9%, one of the few times this year it has finsiehd with less than 20%.

Ten finished on a respectable 26.4%, driven mainly by a decent 1.6m turnout for Talkin Bout Your Generation. The 7pm Project pulled in just 786,000 – up 18,000 on the previous night. It was heavily beaten by Seven’s Home And away (1.3m) and Nine’s Two And A Half Men (1.1m).

The ABC took a 15.2% share and SBS 5.5%.

The numbers to watch for tonight’s ratings will be the final edition of the Chaser’s War On Everything on The ABC at 9pm, plus the head to head battle on Seven and Nine between World’s Strictest Parents and Australia’s Perfect Couple, which are both on their second episode.
