Rafters rule as Nine rues Tuesday

The ever reliable Rafter family took Seven to an easy win on Tuesday in what was a horrible night for Nine.  

Packed To The Rafters pulled in an audience of more than 1.9m, helping the network to a share of the metro audience of 34%, according to preliminary ratings from OzTam. Meanwhile, Nine took just 18.9%, one of the few times this year it has finsiehd with less than 20%.

Ten finished on a respectable 26.4%, driven mainly by a decent 1.6m turnout for Talkin Bout Your Generation. The 7pm Project pulled in just 786,000 – up 18,000 on the previous night. It was heavily beaten by Seven’s Home And away (1.3m) and Nine’s Two And A Half Men (1.1m).

The ABC took a 15.2% share and SBS 5.5%.
