Ratings big guns take hit, Today beats Sunrise

The ratings big guns took a hit last night, with only six shows exceeding 1m.

Nine’s The Celebrity Apprentice dipped slightly on last week, slipping below 1m, as did Seven’s Australia’s Got Amazing Talent.

Only Seven’s The X Factor, which won the night with 1.498m viewers, and Home and Away were 1m+ non-news programs, according to the preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

Nine’s Today beat Seven’s Sunrise in the battle for breakfast – but by just 4,000 viewers.
