REA Group promotes Kul Singh to chief sales officer as Joseph Lyons departs

REA Group has announced Kul Singh will replace Joseph Lyons in the chief sales officer role following an extensive recruitment process.

Singh has been with REA since 2015, working across a number of leadership roles during his time with the business.

Singh will take up the chief sales officer role at REA Group

In his new role, Singh will be responsible for all aspects of sales across REA Group, including residential, developers, commercial and media sales teams.

Prior to joining REA Group, Singh worked with GE Capital and GlaxoSmithKline.

REA Group CEO Owen Wilson said the company was excited to be able to promote internal talent.

“Following an extensive recruitment process, we are delighted to appoint an internal candidate of Kul’s calibre, demonstrating the depth of talent within REA Group and our commitment on providing exciting career pathways for our people.

“Kul brings to the role an impressive track record of delivering results and business growth. He was a natural successor given his deep knowledge of the customer landscape and sentiment, along with an unwavering commitment to driving success for our customers and REA Group.”

Singh said he was looking forward to new challenges.

“I am thrilled to be stepping into this exciting role and working with our teams to drive the successful delivery of our sales strategy. I am also looking forward to meeting with our customers to hear their thoughts and ideas about how we can further strengthen our partnership going forward.”

Lyons left the real estate platform at the end of 2019 to take on a new role in global sales with Xero.

“We thank Joe for his significant contribution to REA Group and wish him all the very best in his new role at Xero,” said Wilson.
