Rescue Special Flops for Nine

Nine’s Rescue Special Ops may have borrowed its promo idea from the Discovery Network, but the debut of the new series had a second hand flavour to it too, rating just 983,000 on Monday night, putting it well out of the top ten shows.

Meanwhile, Ten’s Masterchef cruised on, with nearly 1.9m viewers, according to overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

However, despite the disappointing perofrmance of rescue Special Ops, Nine still won the night because of the strong performance of its suite of comedies.
