Restaurant Revolution gets beaten by 7TWO as The Bachelor continues to dominate

Screen Shot 2015-09-04 at 10.51.02 amThe Bachelor continued to draw strong audiences for  Network Ten, last night pulling 942,000 metro viewers.

It remained the top-rating entertainment show in its timeslot according to Oztam overnight ratings on a night when Restaurant Revolution continues to perform badly for Seven, with only 275,000 viewers with the main channel  again beaten in the 8.30pm by its sister channel 7TWO, this time with UK drama Judge John Deed (276,000).

The NRL was shown live in the 7.30pm timeslot competing with The Bachelor in Sydney and Brisbane, attracting a healthy audience of 631,000 to kick off the finals round of the season.

Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth viewers watched Border Security (431,000) and catchup episodes of the Big Bang Theory on Network GO! (285,000)

Nine News won the night with 1.014m viewers in the 6pm slow, the only program to break the million mark, ahead of Seven news, who saw their audience peak at 888,000.

Nine also dominated audience share with 23.6 precent of the night, leaving Network Ten and Seven behind with 15.6 percent and 13.3 percent respectively.

In breakfast, Nine’s Today show (350,000) edged ahead of Sunrise (321,000).
