The announcement:

Award-winning digital agency Revium today announced it has strengthened its customer offering by establishing a partnership with fast-growing enterprise workflow automation platform, Workato, allowing it to engineer seamless application integrations faster than ever before and with a reduced level of complexity.

Recognised as the leading integration and automation platform, Workato enables both business and IT teams to integrate their apps and automate business workflows without compromising security and governance.

Headquartered in Mountain View, California, Workato is backed by Altimeter Capital, Battery Ventures, Insight Venture Partners, Tiger Global and Redpoint Ventures. Workato is trusted by over 11,000 of the world’s top brands including Broadcom, Intuit, Box, Autodesk and HubSpot. The company is growing rapidly in the Australasian market, with over 15 new hires in the past six months.

Revium managing director, Adam Barty, said: “We strongly believe a big part of future integration will be centred on integration platform as a service [iPaaS] solutions, which is why we are so thrilled to secure a partnership with Workato, the leader in its field.

“Historically, Revium’s growth was fuelled by building bespoke integrations between different technologies including CRMs, CMS, DXP, ERP and more. While they represented strong ROI for our clients back in the day, these bespoke solutions are complex and time consuming to develop, and they require continuous investment to maintain.

“At first glance, embracing iPaaS technology might seem like the loss of a revenue stream for us. However, we don’t believe this means clients will spend less with Revium; it will mean less ‘dead money’ being consumed by building bespoke integrations. This frees up more budget to invest in the things clients and their customers really care about, like smarter and more intuitive user experiences,” he said.

“IPaaS and automation tools like Workato, with its no-code or low-code approach, are a big part of the future of the digital industry and they will help democratise technology, benefiting everyone.”

Workato’s regional channel and alliances manager, Nick Bennet, said: “We are excited to be partnering with Revium, with several members of their team officially certified as Workato experts and client projects already underway.

“The decision to work with Revium was an easy one. Their culture of innovation, technical excellence and progressive industry outlook aligns with our own. I look forward to partnering with them as we help businesses here accelerate their automation journeys.”
