Revolution360 increases sustainability efforts with new partnership

Coinciding with Earth Day 2024, Venetian Media Group’s out-of-home (OOH) company, Revolution360, has announced a partnership with carbon-neutral certification company, The Nullus Institute, in an effort to make its media campaigns more sustainable.

The Nullus Institute provides its partners with solutions for their sustainability needs, across a wide range of resources. According to its website, getting carbon certified by Nullus “provides true visibility of your environmental footprint and a roadmap for achieving net zero”.

Revolution360 hopes to offset its carbon emissions, and take a proactive step towards a greener future, according to national sales director, Josh Fitzgerald.

“It’s fitting our announcement coincides with Earth Day, an important time to reflect on how we can all do better,” he said.

The OOH company is already utilising tools and new technologies to assist its sustainability efforts. It offers 100% recycled and uncoated paper stock for print posters via its ‘ecoStar+’ subscription, its poster glue is made from biodegradable wheat starch, and all OOH posters are removed and recycled once a campaign has finished.

Fitzgerald continued: “Our commitment to carbon neutrality reflects our values and the values of our clients.

“I’m proud to say we offer our sustainability initiatives as standard to all clients as part of any street poster campaign at no charge.”

After conducting comprehensive audits by calculating the carbon emissions associated with campaign implementation, Nullus will offset emissions by purchasing carbon credits.
