Richard Brett promoted to deputy CEO Ogilvy PR
Richard Brett has been promoted to the deputy CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations.
Brett was formerly the group managing director at the Pulse – Ogilvy PR’s brand and consumer agency – for almost four years.
Brett joined Pulse in 2013 from his previous role as managing director at Shine Communications in the UK. He originally joined Shine Communications in June 2009 as director.

“Pulse continues to go from strength to strength and Richard has worked tirelessly to drive our creative, product and innovation offerings which has led to a more integrated earned, digital and socially led approach to PR.
“He has made a huge contribution to the entire Ogilvy PR business over the last few years and has been instrumental in us achieving the status of the largest PR company in Australia. He continues to drive our brave creative thinking and ensure we deliver truly innovative campaigns.
“Richard will, in his new role, drive forward our creative thinking, product, tools and innovation offer for Ogilvy PR Australia and take on additional responsibilities including our social digital and content offering for the Group and overall business planning.”
Brett will also retain the title of managing director for Pulse.
Ogilvy PR’s clients include Ford Motor, Xbox, Dolmio and eBay.
