Rizer expands into Brisbane and Singapore

Experience agency Rizer is expanding into Singapore and Brisbane.

The announcement:

Rizer, the acclaimed global experience agency renowned for creating ‘moments that are truly spectacular’ for the world’s most coveted brands, has announced its expansion into Brisbane and Singapore.

This growth reflects Rizer’s recognition of these dynamic markets as cultural and creative hubs, offering unique opportunities to innovate and collaborate while driving consistency for its global clients across Asia and the Middle East.

Under the leadership of CEO Barry Wafer, the Sydney headquarters will continue to steer Rizer’s global strategy, with the new offices signalling the agency’s commitment and ability to deliver world-class experiences while driving innovation and growth in both key markets.

As part of this expansion, Rizer has appointed key leaders whose expertise and vision will drive the agency’s success in Brisbane and Singapore:

With 15 years of global experience, including his role as chief operating officer at New York-based RAIOLA/Co, Edward Woolrych brings a wealth of strategic and creative expertise to Rizer’s Singapore office. Over the past five years, Woolrych’s leadership as head of projects has been central to Rizer’s success. Now stepping into the role of general manager, he will lead an established Singapore team to deliver innovative, high-impact events across Southeast Asia.

Stepping into the role of head of projects, Kym Chisholm brings 15 years of experience delivering creative and strategic communications solutions across luxury, fashion, corporate, and government sectors. Chisholm will oversee the execution and delivery of all projects across Australia.

Rachael Rigg joining our Brisbane team to lead Partnerships at Rizer, connecting clients and strategic partners across her extensive network. Rigg drove investment and engagement as head of partnerships at Brisbane Festival, and has produced major events such as The Voice Australia, the ARIA Awards, and Fire Fight Australia.

Rizer’s expansion into Brisbane and Singapore reflects a strategic recognition of their potential as cultural and creative hubs. These new markets offer unique opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth, and Rizer is set to elevate the event landscape in both cities.

In Brisbane, Rizer has begun a very exciting contract, delivering an events and activation program for the new $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf precinct, across 12 hectares of the Brisbane CBD over the next three years. The recent launch of Sono Lumo, a spectacular 10-day festival of light and sound at Queen’s Wharf, demonstrates Rizer’s commitment to creating moments that showcase the best of Brisbane to the world—particularly as the city prepares for the 2032 Olympic Games.

“Opening offices in Brisbane and Singapore is a natural extension of our commitment to innovation and collaboration in two of the world’s most exciting markets,” said CEO Barry Wafer. “Our mission has always been to make life spectacular, and with teams led by Edward, Kym and Rachael, we are ready to deliver unforgettable moments in these thriving cities.”
