Roy Capon resigns as CEO of Lavender to relocate overseas

The CEO of CX agency Lavender, Roy Capon, has resigned from the agency to move overseas.

The agency confirmed Capon’s departure and revealed he will not be directly replaced, with the rest of the management team to absorb the role.

Capon took over as CEO of Lavender in 2016

Capon joined Lavender in 2016 taking over as CEO from the agency’s founder and chairman Will Lavender.

Previously, he was at DigitasLBi where he was the Asia Pacific CEO for almost four years.

He has also spent time at Wunderman, Y&R and Euro RSCG 4D.

Capon’s resignation comes just months after Anna Karena joined the agency as chief creative officer to replace Marco Eychenne who departed in October.

In Februray last year, the agency also appointed Ineke Williams as a business partner.

Lavender has worked for clients including Westpac, Telstra, IKEA, EB Games and Medibank.
