RSPCA QLD appoints Engine Group

RSPCA Queensland has appointed Engine Group to lead its creative communications.

The announcement:

Wednesday October 12, 2011 –

Engine Group has been appointed as RSPCA QLD’s creative communications agency. The partnership will see both teams coming together in the coming weeks to establish a clear brand purpose and brand architecture, providing a powerful strategic direction to drive the varying facets of the organisation in the coming years. Tim Weger, Managing Director says ‘Forming a relationship with the RSPCA is a dream for any agency, we’re all absolutely buzzing right now. It’s a great way to give back and drive powerful results for such an amazing worthwhile charity’.

Michael Hornby, Executive Manager comments, “RSPCA Queensland is delighted to have Engine on board. The appointment is essential to allow our charity to achieve its true potential and engage more people in the care and protection of all creatures great and small. After a traumatic year that saw the RSPCA inundated with floodwaters and affected by Cyclone Yasi, combined with the urgency to relocate the state headquarters to the new Animal Care Campus, and with increasing daily demands on our services, we are looking to increase our support base significantly. We want to connect with more Queenslanders, in a deeper, more meaningful and sustainable way, and with Engine we are hopeful we can unlock that potential.”

Engine were appointed following an extensive agency review, and without pitch.
