Rushfaster appoints Hadrien Monloup as product design director
Rushfaster has announced the appointment of Hadrien Monloup as product design director.
The announcement:
Rushfaster has welcomed Hadrien Monloup as product design director. From co-founding Bellroy and Carryology to leading his own consultancy, Monloup Creative, Hadrien has shaped products, brands and the industry through a lens of utility, beauty, and long-term value.
Though the announcement comes today, Hadrien has been quietly shaping Rushfaster’s design direction for a year already — working behind the scenes to develop a suite of original products, including Rushfaster’s EDC Backpack, EDC Pro Backpack, EDC Sling Bag, Essential Tech Pouch, and Pencil Case.
“Hadrien has helped shape modern carry as we know it,” said Daniel Clark, CEO of Rushfaster. “His joining Rushfaster marks the beginning of a new chapter — not just for us, but potentially for the industry. We’re thrilled to finally share who has been behind our new products.”
Widely respected in the global carry community, Hadrien brings a rare mix of design vision and practical experience. As a co-founder of Bellroy, he helped redefine what everyday carry could look and feel like. With Carryology, he helped grow a global community of carry enthusiasts. At Rushfaster, he’s pushing even further — championing a philosophy of essentialism, refinement, and emotional resonance in design.
“Rushfaster creates tools for modern, mobile lives—without the clutter. Our design philosophy is rooted in Essentialism: every detail has a purpose. We make adaptable gear that supports your way of being, without getting in the way.” — Hadrien Monloup, product design director at Rushfaster
With this announcement, Rushfaster signals its evolution from a retailer into a design-led brand in its own right. The products Hadrien has already brought to life are now available at https://rushfaster.com.au/collections/rushfaster-by-designer-hadrien-monloup, with more in development.
