Saatchi & Saatchi releases final campaign for Big W highlighting its ‘total toy domination’ sale
Creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi has today launched its final campaign for retailer Big W.
The “Total Toy Domination” campaign promotes the retailer’s toy sale and follows on from their 2014 campaign.

This year sees the brand again use “evil, genius children” who are in control of the toy sale planning total toy domination from a huge orbiting spaceship.
The children then unleash an army of toys to deliver “more fun toys than ever before” declaring there will be “no escape from the lowest prices”.
The campaign is being executed across all channels including TV, cinema, print, outdoor, in centre digital screens and in store POS.
Saatchi & Saatchi ended its involvement with the brand in May when sister agency Leo Burnett has added the Big W creative duties to its Woolworths portfolio.
Clearly no-one working on this account has kids

I agree @Dad of 3, the ‘no escape’ line is not what I want to hear and just makes me want to avoid Big W entirely if I’m shopping with the kids.

Toy sale, wow what an idea. Keep doing the same thing for 20 years but do a new add. That will make a difference

Saatchi & Saatchi is where advertisers go to die I think. This is awful.

This would have to be one of the worst ads of 2015, even worse than the John McEnroe angry hand puppet ad. Makes me want to throw toys at the tv rather than buy one.
