Salmat appoints Buchan to handle PR

Melbourne and Sydney based communication agency, Buchan Consulting, has been appointed strategic partner of both customer communications specialists Salmat, and international accounting firm Bentleys.

Melbourne and Sydney based communication agency, Buchan Consulting, has been appointed strategic partner of both customer communications specialists Salmat, and international accounting firm Bentleys.

Following a competitive four-way pitch, Buchan was awarded the Salmat public relations account and will be working with Salmat to support its overall corporate positioning and individual businesses including Letterbox Media, LDN, Lasoo, Contact centres and digital solutions.

Salmat delivers over 60 percent of all business to consumer communications in Australia, 25 percent of all outsourced phone calls and operates the one of largest SMS bureaus in the country.

The Salmat account will be serviced by a team across both Buchan’s Sydney and Melbourne offices.

Buchan has also been appointed to support Bentleys, a national accounting affiliation ranked in the top 20 accounting firms by BRW Magazine. Buchan will support Bentleys across ANZ, implementing an integrated content marketing strategy and media campaign.

The Bentleys account win sees Buchan expand its financial services portfolio, which includes the Australian Tax Office, Hewison Private Wealth, NGS Super and Prushka.
