Samsung appoints ex-Lion Nathan marketer Arno Lenior to run marketing

Samsung Australia has appointed a new marketing director.

Arno Lenior, a former Lion Nathan marketer, joins as marketing director, corporate.

At Lion Nathan, he was marketing director of premium brands and innovation, and was behind campaigns such as Boag’s ‘Pure Waters’ and Speight’s ‘Great Beer Delivery’.

He replaces Lambro Skropidis, who left the company in December last year.

Lenior’s career to date includes roles at Gateway, NEC and Toshiba, and latterly he was running his own marketing consultancy.

In a press release, Samsung Australia’s MD, S. R. Yoon said: “Samsung is increasingly being recognised for its first to market achievements and progressive innovation throughout all of our business units. Arno’s appointment signifies the next chapter, taking the Samsung Electronics brand to the next level with an even stronger focus on delivering our brand message of relentless passion to inspire and enrich lives. Following years of experience working across prominent brands, his strategic marketing expertise will be a valuable asset to Samsung.”
