Sarah Norris joins Broadsheet as Sydney editor
Sarah Norris, former features and travels director at Voyeur Magazine, has joined Broadsheet as Sydney editor.
Norris has more than 16 years experience in the industry, most recently working with Pacific Magazines’ Virgin Australia inflight magazine and Toyota’s bi-annual publication Go Places with Toyota.
Also boasting experience in the food industry, Norris has been a restaurant reviewer at Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide and a freelancer for Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide.
Nick Shelton, founder and director of Broadsheet Media, said Norris was “extremely accomplished”, and would make a great addition to the Broadsheet team.
“We have no doubt that her strategic outlook and knowledge of the Sydney market will make her a strong editorial leader within the business. Her appointment confirms our commitment to producing quality content throughout Australia,” Shelton said.
Norris described the publication as the “authority on the cultural life” of Australia’s cities.
“I’m a born and bred Sydneysider and think there are so many fun and innovative things that happen every day, right across town. I am an avid explorer of the city’s varied ‘worlds’ and love meeting the people who make Sydney so remarkable,” Norris said.
Norris commences her role immediately.
