SBS announces sales team hires – but still no sales director

Five weeks after the announced departure of ad sales director Mark Fairhurst, SBS has announced two promotions to the sales team – Jemma Enright and Adam Sadler – in lieu of his position being filled.

SBS COO Richard Finlayson made the announcement today.

Adam Sadler has been promoted to national sales manager from NSW sales manager. The NSW and Victoria teams and The Stenmark Organisation, that represent SBS sales in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, will answer to him.

Sadler formerly worked for The Stenmark Organisation for four years before moving in-house in 2009. Jemma Enright, current national manager, client solutions, will expand her role into trade marketing, to become national manager, client solutions and trade strategy.

On the hires, Finlayson said: “Both Jemma and Adam have done outstanding jobs in their current roles so, while we continue the recruitment process for a new director, media sales, it made sense to broaden their responsibilities and increase our market presence with these positions.”

The network has seen a number of key moves recently with the hire of Lara von Ahlefeldt, head of program sales, and loss of Peter Newman, head of production and development to WTFN, as well as Fairhurst.
